Terms of use,in plain words.
These terms are an agreement between you and Ranne Studio FZE (“we”) for the Candelo app and this website. By using them you accept these terms. If you don’t, please don’t use Candelo.
Education only
Candelo teaches how to read price charts. It is not a broker, does not hold money, does not execute trades, and does not give investment, financial, tax or legal advice or trading signals. Charts are practice charts or historical market data; how price moved in the past says nothing certain about the future. Nothing in Candelo is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
Trading currencies, crypto, stocks and leveraged products carries a high risk of losing money, and most people who trade leveraged products lose money. Only trade with money you can afford to lose, and get independent advice if you need it.
Your account
You can use Candelo without an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in secure and give us a working email. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete my data. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and at least 16.
League names and leaderboards
The league name you choose is public to your league group and on the boards. Don’t use a name that is offensive, impersonates someone (including Candelo or its staff), or advertises anything. We may reset names that break this rule, including after another user reports them.
Candelo Pro subscriptions
- Pro is sold through the App Store. The price and billing period are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID’s subscription settings.
- A free trial, where offered, turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Restore purchases on a new phone from the paywall or Settings.
Free version, ads and in-app items
The free version shows ads as described in the app. Hearts, gems and streak freezes have no cash value, can’t be sold or transferred, and may be adjusted to keep the game fair.
Fair use
Don’t misuse Candelo: no cheating the leagues or leaderboards with automation, no reverse engineering, scraping or reselling our content, no attacks on our systems, and nothing unlawful. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Our content
Lessons, charts, drills, design and the Candelo name belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own learning. Share cards you create are yours to post.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Candelo running and accurate but provide it “as is”. Content may contain mistakes; tell us at support@ranne.studio and we’ll fix them. We may change features, content or these terms; if a change matters we’ll tell you in the app, and continuing to use Candelo means you accept the new terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses or any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Candelo, its content, support or any claims about it. If Candelo fails to meet a warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US government embargo and not on a US prohibited-parties list.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
